Practice One at Sunny Sebring with GT America power by AWS

Daskalos Leads SRO3 Class – Holland Fastest in GT4 Class

The GT America powered by AWS series began the day at Sebring International Raceway with Practice One. The 30-minute session had the benefit of the early morning cool with sunny skies. The SRO3 Class and GT4 Class comprise a field of 21 to take on the famous bumps this weekend.

As teams and drivers knocked the dust off, battles resumed even in practice. Lap after lap, a different driver sat atop the leaderboard. However, a few names did stand out with championships in mind.

SRO3 Class

Jason Daskalos in the No. 27 CRP Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 finished the session fastest overall with a 2:01.605. His Best Lap was followed by Driver Points Championship leader Memo Gidley in the No. 101 TKO Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 with a 2:01.788. Anthony Bartone in the No. 427 RealTime Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 was third quickest in the session with a lap of 2:01.895. George Kurtz was hot on the heels of Bartone in his No. 04 CrowdStrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 turning a 2:01.947. Adam Adelson in the No. 120 Wright Motorsports Porsche GT3 911 R rounded out the Top Five with a Best Lap of 2:02.130.

GT4 Class

Robb Holland in the No. 099 Rotek Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport topped the charts in the GT4 field with a Best Lap of 2:11.965. Elias Sabo in the No. 8 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 was second fastest with a lap of 2:12.009. The third quickest was Drivers Points Championship leader Jason Bell. Bell in his No. 2 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 turned a 2:12.459. Tony Gaples in the No. 5 Blackdog Speed Shop Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R had a Best Lap of 2:12.831. Scott Blind rounded out the Top Five with a 2:12.831 lap time in his No. 045 Archangel Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4.
