KAYLEE BRYSON ENTERS CHILI BOWL NATIONALS WITH SAMMY SWINDEL

Indianapolis USA 2023 USAC Silver Crown Series Rookie of the Year, Kaylee Bryson will race in the 38thChili Bowl Nationals for legendary driver and car owner Sammy Swindell and Swindell-Bertrand Motorsports. Bryson will pilot the four-time Chili Bowl winning #91K Spike / Stanton SR11x machine alongside five-time event winner Sammy Swindell in his iconic #1 Spike / Stanton SR11x as teammates.

Bryson will attempt to qualify for her third consecutive Chili Bowl feature event while Swindell will make his record 36th Chili Bowl appearance. “She’s definitely putting pressure on me (to make her third consecutive feature)”, said Swindell. Bryson stated, “I am just super excited to be able to race for one of my biggest heroes at such an important race. Sammy has been really helpful as a driver coach this year and I am very thankful for the opportunity.”

While Sammy has won the event five times, he also has ten Chili Bowl wins as a car owner and has high regards for Kaylee and her career aspirations. “She’s definitely focused, pays ttention and has a lot of determination. She wants to do it and has passion and desire. Those things all put you ahead of the curve, and to do them all well is another bonus,” said Swindell. “I hope we both have a nice smooth week.”

Both cars will enjoy support from John and Gloria Christner, W&B Services, Superior Trailer Sales, Eclipse Claim Consulting and Whitacre Glass, with additional support for Kaylee’s effort from AP Driver Development, James Hodge Auto Group, Logical Systems, RE Enterprises and SamPierceChevy.com.

While Sammy will assume is usual duties as Crew Chief for both cars along with perennial crew members David Hesmer, Jackson Whitacre and tire specialist Justin Parker, additional help will be provided by LSI Racing crew members Chris Santucci and Darren Seward along with Grant Penn and Aaron Pierce from Sam Pierce Racing.

Kaylee will also run the Swayer Chassis house car #11b in the Tulsa Shootout. Bryson won a Tulsa Shootout Golden Driller in 2015.
