ZACH BLURTON GOING FULL TIME WITH THE AMERICAN SPRINT CAR SERIES IN 2024!

Bryan Hulbert – QUINTER, Kan. (January 22, 2024) A long time dream will be fulfilled in 2024 as Zach Blurton takes his talent on the road full-time with the American Sprint Car Series presented by RacinDirt.com in pursuit of the Brodix National Rookie of the Year.

“First and foremost, I need to thank my wife for going along with this crazy racing life,” chuckled Blurton.

Asked about the progression that led to this season, he said, “From my start in racing, I feel like I’ve had realistic goals and dreams. I would see the Outlaw and the All-Star schedule and think that was cool and see what was close that I could go watch, but the ASCS schedule was one that I looked at and felt that was something I could do one day.”

An accomplished and proven talent in the United Rebel Sprint Series ranks, where he ranks third in all-time wins, Blurton has stepped up his 360cid program over the past few seasons, and found success; including an ASCS National Tour win at WaKeeney Speedway on July 3, 2022.

On that race, Zach commented, “I’ll never forget that night, and that feeling of who I was racing with and had to hold off to get that win, and I want that again.”

For the 2024 season, Blurton will pilot the Swift Bullet Co./Summit Automotive Group No. 2J with Maxim Chassis and Don Ott power. No stranger to the traveling world of Sprint Car racing, Snow Giddings will take charge as the crew chief.

“We’ve been building the team, and didn’t want to do this until I knew we were ready, and I feel like we’re finally at a point to take that step and give it a try. We’re a family-oriented team, as are a lot of our sponsors, and they’ve really stepped up to help us accomplish this.”

Blurton is carrying plenty of momentum into 2024 with last year producing six wins, 20 top five, and 29 top ten finishes across various series and engine combinations.
