DORAN MOTORSPORTS GROUP AND BERG RACING JOIN FORCES FOR 2024 CAMPAIGN

In an effort to strengthen both programs, Doran Motorsports Group (DMG) and Berg Racing have joined forces for the 2024 season. Berg DMG Racing is set to compete in the 2024 Ligier JSF4 Series, and the effort will lean on experience and the drive to win to ensure success this coming season.

DMG has recorded more than 20 podium finishes in F4 since 2019 and earned victories in both the Formula Pro USA Western Championship program and the national United States F4 Championship. Known for fast and reliable racecars, DMG has helped launch the careers of many through their driver development program, pushing race winners to the next level. With the DMG Academy in place, Doran Motorsports Group is building drivers for both now and in the future.

Former Formula 1 driver Allen Berg has owned and operated Allen Berg Racing Schools (ABRS), one of North America’s premier formula car racing schools, now situated at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, for 18 years. ABRS also conducts multiple forms of driver training programs. Over the years ABRS has trained / assessed thousands of drivers in law enforcement, the Autonomous Vehicle sector as well auto manufacturer employee driver training programs for test drivers, engineers, and R & D staff. In addition, its racing division, Berg Racing, also operates a multi-car team in the Mazda supported Spec MX5 series.

“Combining forces with Berg Racing is a very logical and strategic move for both parties involved,” expressed Francois Doran, Owner of Doran Motorsports Group. “Allen brings experience and wisdom that can help both the drivers and the team grow. We are a two-car team and have Harbir Dass signed for the 2024 season. The DMG Academy already has two confirmed drivers for 2024, Asad Nikadambaev and Viyaan Bhindi who have secured their seats for the 2025 and 2028 in the Ligier JSF4 Series.”

“Partnering with Francois and Doran Motorsports Group was a natural move for our mutual goals in motorsports,” explained Allen Berg. “Francois has run my son Alex Berg in USF4 over the past two seasons and has been a huge supporter of our family’s motorsports efforts. Francois has a passion for winning and the ambition that it takes to succeed in this very competitive business. I am confident that we will be able to accomplish great things together.”

F4 US Championship’s Scott Goodyear added, “We are very excited to welcome the new alliance of Francois Doran, Alex, and Allen Berg to the paddock this season. I’ve known Allen since we raced FF1600 cars against each other years ago. Their combined experience will bring another top team to the series fighting for a Championship.”
