GABRIEL AND AYRTON CAHAN SET FOR PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL RACE COMPLEX THIS WEEKEND

After a career-best weekend in Formula Race Promotions (FRP) competition for both Gabriel and Ayrton Cahan less than two weeks ago, the duo will be back on track this week at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex (Pitt Race). Aiming to continue the momentum gained at Lime Rock Park, Gabriel will look to add to his win total in F2000 while Ayrton will continue his upward trend in F1600.

After a triple top-ten performance for Ayrton and a pole position and double victory for Gabriel, the Cahans will now be fully focused on the 19-turn Pitt Race facility.

“I’m looking forward to Pittsburgh. I have been practicing this track on the sim for a while now and it’s a very fun track,” explains Gabriel Cahan. “I’m hoping to continue the success we had at Lime Rock this coming weekend, but all around, I’m just excited to go racing again.”

Ayrton Cahan adds, “I am looking forward to getting back on track and trying a new one. Pittsburgh looks amazing. I am eager to show the field what I am capable of by continuing to move up in position.”

Hitting the track Friday for a pair of practice sessions for each class, qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel racing take place on Saturday with the final checkered flag on the event falling Sunday afternoon.
