November 26, 2024 – Los Angeles, CA
Precision Racing LA, the sister team of LA Honda World Racing, is set to return to the IMSA paddock in 2025. Bringing their long history of motorsport partnership with IMSA, Precision Racing LA will enter two Audi RS 3 LMS TCR cars in 2025.
“I am pleased to bring our team back to IMSA. We have had six solid years of results in IMSA and other multiple series and look forward to continuing that trend with our new Audi performance cars in 2025,” said Mario Biundo, Precision Racing LA, Owner. “With our team’s prior history of racing European machines, this feels like a return home. IMSA and the MPC have always been tough competition, and we are very hungry for an IMSA championship. We will have our work cut out for us knowing who we are up against,” Biundo said.
Leading the 2025 charge will be IMSA Scholarship winner, Celso Neto, who is set to co-pilot one of the RS3’s. As the team continues to secure their 2025 driver line up, the roster of talent promises to bring continuity, skill, and excitement to the upcoming season. Precision Racing LA’s commitment to excellence and their proven record of success, combined with Audi’s renowned engineering, positions the team as a strong contender for the 2025 TCR championship.
“I had a great tenure running Honda products the last 3 years. I learned a lot about the peculiarities of the cars and believe I’ve grown as a driver by adapting to the changes production-based race cars have. With the Audi, I’m most looking forward to the increase in race parts such as higher downforce compared to the previous touring cars I have driven and more advanced electronics such as ABS that are well-tuned in these cars,” said Celso Neto, 2024 IMSA Scholarship winner.
Precision Racing LA and LA Honda World Racing have a history of success after being in professional racing for 7 years. The Team’s IMSA efforts have produced numerous track records, pole positions, wins and podiums, but championships have been elusive. LAHWR won an SRO Championship in Touring Car in 2023, while Precision Racing’s 2024 efforts in GT4 and GR Cup racing netted multiple podiums and a season ending win at Indianapolis. A final exclamation for the 2024 GR Cup team came when one of their drivers was awarded Rookie of the Year.
