Mooresville, NC – December 20, 2024 – After completing the series’ inaugural national season, fan-favorite Kasey Kahne has decided to bring the #9 back for more in 2025 with Kubota High Limit Racing – again joining KKR teammate Brad Sweet on the road.
This time, the former NASCAR Cup Series star will have esteemed crew chief Eric Prutzman on the wrenches, who won six consecutive national sprint car championships as Sweet’s shot-caller on the NAPA Auto Parts #49 – including the 2024 title with Kubota High Limit Racing after topping the World of Outlaws from 2019-23.
Kahne will return to Kubota High Limit Racing after a 14th-place finish in the points this year, highlighted by nine top-10 results in 45 feature starts. The Enumclaw, WA saved his best for late in the season when he collected his first-career HLR top-five at Lucas Oil Speedway – where the series returns for the Diamond Classic on June 27-28.
The 44-year-old pilot is already a winner at several tracks listed on the 2025 Kubota High Limit Racing schedule including Bakersfield Speedway (March 21), Eagle Raceway (June 10), Eldora Speedway (July 16-17 & Sept. 19-20), and Lernerville Speedway (July 22 & Sept. 12-13).
Of the 61 events scheduled in 2025, one weekend stands out for Kahne. That’s the Skagit Nationals in his home state of Washington, offering a $102,626.26 payday as the richest race in West Coast Sprint Car Racing history on August 28-30.
With 15 tracks hosting Kubota High Limit Racing for the first time next year, Kahne will be making his debut at nine of them. Fans at Central Arizona Speedway (March 28-29), Vado Speedway Park (April 1), Route 66 Motor Speedway (April 4), Dodge City Raceway Park (April 5), Texarkana 67 Speedway (April 30), Ransomville Speedway (May 16), 141 Speedway (June 3), Red Cedar Speedway (June 4), and Florence Speedway (July 11-12) will see Kahne for the first time at their local tracks.
Kahne’s 2025 effort with Kubota High Limit Racing will begin with a new season-opening event at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway accompanying NASCAR weekend on Thursday & Saturday, March 13 & 15.
