Competing in the final event of the 2024 Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli and scoring the win in the Pro / Am class, Sam Corry will compete in the TA2 National Class with Nitro Motorsports in 2025. A multi-time race winner and champion in several other programs, Corry is ready for a new season of competition.
“We can’t wait to get 2025 started, and adding Sam to the program, our program is just that much stronger,” explained Nitro Motorsports’ Nick Tucker. “Sam is an exceptional talent and will be a major asset to our growing program and future plans.”
While at the Circuit of the Americas in the TA2 Pro / Am class, Sam Corry qualified in the pole position and never put a wheel wrong all weekend. As the class of the field, Corry dominated the weekend, topping every official session and leading every lap.
“I can’t thank Nick and Nitro Motorsports for the success that we had just a few months ago, but also the opportunity for the future,” added Sam Corry. “Nitro Motorsports has been the best team in Trans Am, claiming back-to-back championships, and I can’t wait to help keep that momentum going.”
Tucker added, “Sam is a talent in open-wheel racing, and we look to help make him a star in Trans Am and other forms for motorsports.”
Sam Corry has built an impressive resume as a multidimensional driver. He earned the 2024 Vice-Championship honors in the USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire Championship, finishing every lap of every race. Sam took the top step in 2023 in USF2000 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, building off a second-place finish in the inaugural 2022 USF Juniors program. After multiple championships and wins in asphalt go-karts, winged outlaw karts, and micro-sprint cars, Sam has proven that he can get behind the wheel of just about anything and find success. Corry is ready to take on 2025 with Nitro Motorsports!
