Marco Andretti will attempt to make his 20th start in “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” this May, driving the No. 98 MAPEI/CURB Honda fielded by Andretti Herta with Marco Andretti and Curb-Agajanian in the 109th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
Andretti’s best finish in the “500” is second, in his rookie season of 2006. Andretti, grandson of 1969 Indianapolis 500 winner Mario Andretti, has four top-three and eight top-10 finishes at Indy in his 19 starts. He also won the pole for the 2020 race.
MAPEI, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of chemical products for the building industry, will return for its second season of NTT INDYCAR SERIES competition in 2025 as the primary partner of Andretti’s Indy 500 entry and as an official partner on the No. 27 Honda driven by Kyle Kirkwood for the entire 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.
“Performance, precision and passion — these values unite MAPEI and Andretti Global,” said Luigi Di Geso, president and CEO of MAPEI North America. “With Marco Andretti in the No. 98 and Kyle Kirkwood in the No. 27, we are poised for another thrilling season in 2025.”
The 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season starts Sunday, March 2 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding at St. Petersburg, Florida (live, FOX, INDYCAR Radio Network).
Andretti will be on track with his MAPEI livery at the Indianapolis 500 Open Test in April at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The 109th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge is scheduled for Sunday, May 25 (live, FOX, INDYCAR Radio Network).
