
HMD Motorsports is set to kick off the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone season this weekend on the Streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. The team enters the year with a strong driver lineup, fielding nine entries in the highly competitive championship as they look to get back to their winning ways of 2022 and 2023.
The Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will serve as the first round of the season, running alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. The weekend will feature a practice session on Friday while another practice session will take place on Saturday morning. Later that afternoon, qualifying will determine the starting grid for Sunday’s race at 10:00 AM ET.

With the recent INDYCAR partnership with FOX Sports, all INDY NXT by Firestone races will now be broadcast live on FS1, providing increased exposure for both drivers and teams. Fans outside the U.S. can catch the action via INDYCAR LIVE.
With the first green flag of 2025 just days away, HMD Motorsports is ready to take on St. Petersburg and begin another thrilling INDY NXT season.
