Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Brings Thirteen To FR Americas & Ligier JS F4 Season Opener

April 9, 2024 – It’s the start of a new season of competition and Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport is entering 2024 bigger and stronger than ever. Despite the start of the F4 United States Championship being delayed, the Texas-based program will bring 13 competitors to NOLA Motorsports Park this weekend for the start of both the FR Americas Championship and the Ligier JS F4 Championship programs.

“Some people ask if we are crazy, but we just love racing and want to support the series in every way we can,” explained Teena Larsen. “We had a ton of success in 2023, and that has brought even more drivers to our program this season. We have created a team in which drivers can begin their open-wheel career and move through the ladder and advance to become professionals.”

As the reigning FR Americas Champions, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport brings nine drivers to New Orleans this weekend including 2023 Vice-Champion Ryan Shehan and 2023 F4 United States Champion and now FR Americas rookie Patrick Woods-Toth. F4 graduate Jett Bowling and Alex Benavitz, along with 2023 F4 race winner and Vice-Champion Titus Sherlock and newcomers Ricco Shlaimoun and Formula Pro USA Western Championship victor Landan Matriano Lim will join the previously announced Nicole Havrda and Kevin Janzen in the massive Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport program.

Larsen added, “We are expecting a big jump in numbers in FR Americas competition this season, but we have nine hungry drivers ready to follow in the footsteps of last season’s champion and now INDY NXT driver Callum Hedge.”

With nine competitors in FR, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport will bring four drivers in the new Ligier JSF4 program. Utilizing the same cars as the F4 US Championship used last season, the championship-winning program brings a ton of knowledge and experience to the table in a four-driver effort.

Kekai Hauanio, who competed in a partial F4 campaign in 2023 will race the likes of Demitri Nolan, Australian Brad Majman, and 2023 podium winner Bacon Zelenka who also arrives to the program with some F4 race experience on his resume.

Gill Kazsuba added, “We have years’ worth of data and experience that will help our new Ligier JSF4 drivers and are confident that we can help them achieve their goals and add another championship title to our illustrious resume.”

Drivers will hit the track on Thursday with an opportunity to take part in pre-event testing with two official practice sessions on Friday for each class. Qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel races of the season will take place on Saturday with additional races concluding Sunday.
